Description
Katyusha black currant originates from Belarus. The Katyusha produces large, glossy berries with high sugar content and a pleasing not-too-sweet flavor. The berries hang on the bush for quite some time without rotting and will also keep in storage longer than many black currants. The flowers that appear on its branches have a yellowish or even a greenish tint, which is a pleasing addition to your yard. At maturity it is 3-5 feet in height and is hardy to minus 40 degrees.
