Ordered 3 elderberry and 2 kiwi. Both arrived healthy, well packaged, and larger than I expected!
This has really taken off cannot wait for all the berries!
First FYI: I am a long time, experienced and very picky gardener. So I tend to be fairly critical and have high expectations. Nuff said. I was not sure what to expect when ordering these two elderberry plants because some of the other vendor pics looked like sticks shoved in the ground (which is how you propagate these I found out). What I received was two, well labelled, 2 foot-ish tall, potted plants. In addition, there was visible growth of leaves in several nodes on the stems and there was branching of stems on the York. The packaging was excellent. The base of the pot was wrapped firmly with foam and stretch wrapped which kept the soil in place during shipping. The soil arrived damp and not desiccated. I was very pleased with this purchase and felt that the price was worth it!
I was delivered in the dead of winter and is thriving
