Lingonberry (Red Candy)

An especially attractive, improved variety from Europe. Red Candy has a very strong, compact form and flowers early and heavily. It produces consistent yields of large, tasty fruit that stay on the plants for an extended period. This evergreen low growing shrub is great as a ground cover, staying a compact 1-2′ tall and 1-2′ wide. Self-fertile but best planted amongst other lingonberries for best fruiting. Hardy to -40 degrees F.
