Lingonberry (Balsgard)

Plant grows to be about 12″-15″ in height and will begin to spread as ground cover with time. Lingonberries flower on 1-year-old growth (the previous year ºs growth). They are known as branch tip bloomers. There are two bloom periods—March to April and July to August. Thefruit ripens in mid-August and mid-October, respectively. Fruits of this variety are larger than with other varieties. Plant two varieties for cross-pollination, we recommend red pearl as a pollinizer.
