A reliable variety of Asian pear. It bears heavy yields of golden-bronze, medium-large round fruits with sweet, richly flavored flesh and crisp texture. Its fruits ripen from mid-August to September and store well for 2-3 months. Shinko Asian Pear exhibits excellent resistance to fire blight making it a great tree for your organic garden. Hardy to Zones 5-9. Requires pollination with another variety of Asian pear.
