Persimmon Tree (Maru)

A Japanese persimmon that’s often mistaken for a chocolate persimmon due to its similar brown flesh, Maru’s fruits are extremely sweet and are great eaten both fresh and dehydrated. Technically self fertile, self pollinated fruits will be astringent unless pollinated by different persimmon.
