The Duchesse de Nemours Peony is an heirloom white peony cultivar introduced by French breeder Calot in 1856. Pale white peonies are not common, but the Duchesse de Nemours Peony is one of the most popular. The beautiful, fragrant flowers grow between 5″-6″ wide and have a classic soft and fluffy appearance due to their double petals. They grow best in full sun locations with moist, well-drained soil and reach about 3 feet tall.
