Lingonberry (Linnea)

Description

Plant grows to be about 12″ in height and will begin to spread as ground cover with time. Lingonberries flower on 1-year-old growth (the previous yearʼs growth). They are known as branch tip bloomers. There are two bloom periods—March to April and July to August. The
fruit ripens in mid-August and mid-October, respectively.

Site and Soil: Prefers well-drained, acidic soil with organic matter. Partial to full sun.
Bearing age: Will produce fruit right away.
