Description
The Beta ground cover raspberry is a spreading and low-growing variety known for its compact growth habit and flavorful fruits. It forms a dense mat of foliage near the ground, making it an excellent choice for ground cover or container planting. The berries of the Beta raspberry are small to medium-sized with a deep red color and a sweet-tart flavor profile. They are juicy and offer a delightful burst of fruity goodness. Plant at least two different cultivars. Arctic raspberries are self-sterile: a single Beta plant sets no fruit at all, and neither do several of the same cultivar. Anna is the reliable partner; Beta and Sophia together are reported to set poorly.
