Monastery Muscat grape is a white, sweet, seedless grape. Its wonderful muscat flavor and aroma is great for fresh eating and wine. It was bred by a Brother at a monastery in Amity, Oregon. It is good choice for the Pacific Northwest as well as other regions. Monastery Muscat is disease-resistant and produces abundant crops. Grapes like full-to-1/2 day sun and well-drained soil. It is hardy to 0 degrees F. At maturity it can grow 10-12 ft. in width on fence, trellis, arbor or other support. Self rooted and self fertile. Ripening time is August-October.
