Flowering Apricot Tree (Bongo)

This flowering apricot is from the Bungo region of Japan, which has fragrant, long-lasting pink flowers in earliest spring. The fruit is up to 2 inches and is used in Asian delicacies. For better fruit set use another Prunus mume for cross pollination. Bungo is a beautiful ornamental and wonderful for providing forage for early pollinators.
