Flowering Apricot (Bungo)

A popular variety found throughout Japan, the Bungo Flowering Apricot is a sight to see! In full bloom the tree is covered with pink, fragrant flowers. The flower is often used as decorations during the Lunar New Year festival. This variety can produce an apricot sized fruit that is often pickled.
