Description
Vista produces small to medium black fruit with red flesh, rich sweetness, and a welcome touch of acidity. A tight eye and chewy skin help the fruit hold together as it finishes.
Genetic work identified Vista as Violette de Bordeaux, with Beer’s Black in the same synonym group. Vista is the provenance name attached to the UC Davis selection distributed by Jon Verdick.
