Fig Tree (LSU Purple)
$29.99
The LSU Purple is another excellent fig to come from the LSU fig breeding program. It is very adaptable to many climate types. It will produce large breba and main crops. The fruit is up to 2.5 inches long with dark purple, glossy skin and high sugar content. The flesh is light strawberry colored and said to have sweet, caramel-flavored figs. LSU Purple Fig typically produces fruit the first year it’s planted, and the fruit quality continues to improve as the tree ages. LSU Purple Figs reach maturity in only five years. At maturity the LSU Purple Fig tree will grow to between 8 and 10 feet tall and wide. They are self-fertile so only one is required to produce an abundant harvest.

Boxed perfect. Shipped on time. Excellent quality stock. About the only thing you could do to improve my experience would be to fly out to Maine and plant them for me.
The bare roots are by far the most established roots that I have ever seen on a bareroot tree.
An extra long box for taller trees is totally worth it to me. The trees are great.
