LSU Gold fig is another release from the LSU Agriculture Center fig program with good cold tolerance. It is a fast grower and heavy producer of large figs. The skin is light-yellow, with a pink-to-light red flesh. The fruit is fairly sweet and honey-flavored. LSU Gold will reach between 8 and15 feet in height at maturity. It is self-fertile.

An extra long box for taller trees is totally worth it to me. The trees are great.
It is growing really well with green dark leaves, the fruit it came with , is still staying on the tree. I’m hoping it will ripen soon . They’re getting larger, I do have 30% shade cloth cover in the tree, I love it
