Figo Preto is a more vigorous, faster growing and easy to root clone of Black Madeira. Figo Preto is a small-to-medium sized fig that is reliably hardy to 0° to 5° F. The fruits have a sweet, medium-berry flavor. It bears fruit 1-2 years after planting. At maturity it grows to 8-15 feet. Main crop ripening days: 100.
