Description
This easy-to-grow, clumping bamboo features brightly variegated new foliage in spring, which fades by midsummer, along with rusty-pink shoots and blue-and-purple new canes, making it a stunning garden focal point. Growing 12-14 feet tall, it spreads 8-12 inches annually and serves as an excellent dense screen. Thriving in full shade but tolerating full sun without excessive reflected heat, it has no significant pests except for occasional bamboo mites.
