Avocado (Carmen-Hass)

Description

Carmen Hass originates from Mexico and produces 1-2 months earlier than traditional Hass. The fruit has black, medium-thick skin and an oval shape with an excellent flavor.  A mature tree can be 25′-35′ tall. They require 8 hours of full sun a day. Carmen Hass avocados are self-fruitful in cooler climates, but fruit yield will be increased with nearby TYPE B avocado trees and/or bee friendly flowers. Hardy to 32° F.
