Brought from Japan several years ago, Amber Autumn Olive is prized for its profuse, fragrant, flowers in May, which are followed by sweet, tasty, light-amber fruit. Autumn olives are very easy to grow- drought tolerant and minimal fertilizing required due to its ability to fix nitrogen. We have found the Amber variety to be our favorite- not only does it have larger berries than other varieties we have found them to be sweeter as well.
