Fig Tree (C’s Red)

$29.99

C’s Red Fig (Calliope’s Red Greek) is a treasured heirloom brought from Portugal to the U.S. by the Pangaio family over 50 years ago. This variety produces deep red flesh with a sweet berry flavor, complemented by notes of papaya, honeydew melon, and watermelon. The reddish-brown skin resists cracking, and the tree yields two crops—one in early summer and another in early fall.

C’s Red has proven exceptionallycold-hardy, surviving in zone 6 winters with minimal protection. Even after die-back, it reliably fruits in its first year of regrowth. Fruits are medium-sized and are highly productive.

Boxed perfect. Shipped on time. Excellent quality stock. About the only thing you could do to improve my experience would be to fly out to Maine and plant them for me.

Don, Maine

I have been buying from your nursery for years, and hands down your citrus has survived the best out of all of my sources. I have never lost a plant in my colder climate.

Returning customer

The plants look beautiful and healthy. I was impressed by the size and strength of the 3-Cherry Tree.
