The Eversweet pomegranate was developed in the early 1980s in Lebanon. The Eversweet’s fruit is not bright red like other pomegranates but is clear and non-staining and is best known for its very sweet flavor. Even immature fruits are sweet! The skin starts out light pink and matures to red. Hummingbirds love the pomegranate’s large, orange-red flowers.

It looks like it is at least 7 feet tall. I certainly was not expecting it to be that big.
