Orange (Lane Late Navel)

This ’Lane Late’ was brought to California from Australia and is a late season navel orange. Like other navel oranges, it produces sweet, seedless fruit that is easy to peel. Its very fragrant blooms are a pollinator’s favorite and will scent the air. Oranges seem to have the most divine scent of all the citrus. The fruit is medium-to-large with smooth, lighter skin. self-fertile but will produce a larger crop if planted near a second tree.
