Genovese Nero AF was introduced by Adriano in Canada and originally came from northern Italy. The AF designation is for Adriano, from whom Rafed originally acquired the variety. When fully ripe they are very sweet and syrupy. It produces large dark purple figs. It is a very productive and produces a delicious breba crop. Excellent variety that is hardy in cold climate.

It looks like it is at least 7 feet tall. I certainly was not expecting it to be that big.
