Black Currant (Ben Sarek)

The Scottish Crop Research Institute has created this frost resistant cultivar for the home gardener. The mildew resistant bush is easily maintained at 3-4 feet tall with 2-3 feet spacing. It produces an abundance of large, flavorful fruit, so much so that the branches may need support.
