Description
Also known as King of Tompkins County, this is a large sized apple with a pale red to yellow complexion. This apple has a sweet taste with a pleasant aromatic quality. This apple is very versatile, great for fresh eating, cooking, cider and stores well. Can grow to 16 feet in height, this tree prefers half to full day sun. Harvest fruit in early to late August. Flowering group 3, would need pollination from different variety flowering groups 2,3 or 4 to set fruit.
