Had this tree for almost 3 years now. Bought it to test cold hardiness.
I container grow citrus in zone 8b, meaning they all come inside for the winter.
This tree did well in a container left outside winter 2022. There were several stretches of temps in the low 20’s. I’m confident that this tree would do well in the ground here in the PNW.
It has been promoted with the rest of my citrus collect and now comes inside. I’m getting rewarded with a nice crop of limes, ready in Sept/Oct.
If you are not familiar, optimal size of the fruit is ~1.5”. Excellent for cooking, mixing with spirits, and a great lime aid.
