Strawberry Tree (Marina)

Description

The Arbutus ‘Marina’ is an evergreen tree known for its striking reddish-brown, peeling bark and year-round beauty. This variety of the strawberry tree reaches about 20-30 feet in height with a broad, rounded canopy, making it a great focal point for landscapes. It produces clusters of small, urn-shaped, pinkish-white flowers, often blooming in fall and winter, followed by red, berry-like fruit resembling strawberries. These fruits are edible, though mildly sweet. The Arbutus ‘Marina’ is drought-tolerant once established, thrives in full sun to partial shade, and adapts well to coastal conditions.
