Description

As its name implies, Mammoth Pineapple Guava is a very large fruit, in fact it is the largest of all our varieties. Sweet and flavorful, Mammoth is also early ripening. Plant with another variety or seedling for cross-pollination.

Site and Soil: Well-drained soil, preferably sandy loam. Pineapple guava is adaptable to various soil types. Full sun to partial shade.
Bearing age: Plants will produce fruit in 2-3 years.
Rootstock: Grafted onto pineapple guava rootstock.
Size at Maturity: Large shrub or small tree, typically reaching 10-15 feet in height.
Bloom time: Late spring to early summer.
