Mandarin (Shirokolistvennyi Satsuma)

This satsuma mandarin tree grows relatively compact compared to other mandarin. Originally developed in former Soviet Union it is a cold hearty variety of Mandarin. The fruit is sweet/tangy, seedless and dimpled with a wide, flat bottom. Like most citrus this plant prefers; half to full day sun light, well-draining, coarse soil and is self-fertile.
