Honeyberry (Blue Velvet)

An early blooming variety of honeyberry. It grows in a compact shape with an olive green and velvety texture to its leaves. The berries can be described as sweet-tart and flavorful, about medium in size compared to other honeyberries. They will bloom in March and ripen in June. This bush is hardy to -40F and prefers half to full day sun. Cross pollination with another variety is needed.
