Fig Tree (Molla Vermella)

Molla Vermella is a very productive fig that originally came from Spain. It has an intense red pulp and is very sweet and flavorful with hints of berry. It is best eaten fresh, but with proper drying it yields a sweet and rich textured fruit with a strong berry aftertaste. The skin turns a deep red-purple at maturity.
