Fig Tree (Marseilles Black VS)

Marseilles Black VS has discovered by an American World War II veteran, in Europe. It produces good tasting figs with less then 6 hours of direct sun light a day and is hardy to zone 5 in the ground. This French variety produces medium-to-large sized fruit of very good quality with a black exterior and dark red inside. It produces a good breba crop.
