Description
Chippewa Blueberry is a compact, cold-hardy half-high variety developed by the University of Minnesota, ideal for northern climates. Growing 3–4 feet tall, it produces medium to large, light blue berries with a sweet, firm texture, ripening in midseason (typically July). The shrub offers ornamental appeal with white spring flowers and vibrant red-orange fall foliage . Hardy to USDA Zone 3, Chippewa thrives in acidic, well-drained soil and benefits from cross-pollination for increased yields.
