Olive Tree (Leccino)

This hardy, unique and classic Italian olive variety is prized for its attractive, semi-weeping form and its early ripening, large and tasty fruit. Leccino has a high oil content and is often pressed with other varieties to form a boutique and elegant virgin olive oil. Leccino needs cross pollination with another variety such as Arbequina to produce abundant crops. Olive trees bear fruit early in their life and will often produce the year after they are planted.
