This valuable variety is prized for its unique, very spicy leaves that are used to flavor curries and other dishes. Kaffir Lime (Keiffer) also bears good crops of small, intensely fragrant, bumpy fruit that is used in Southeast Asian cooking. Fragrant showy flowers bloom and ripen fruit in fall and winter months. Hardy to 32 degrees the Thai Lime will grow to be 8′-12′ and is self-fertile.
