Description
The Evergreen Huckleberry is native to the Pacific Northwest.The berries ripen in late summer and are dark blue; tart and flavorful. The fruit is a little smaller than a blueberry. It will grow well in shade where it can reach 6-8 feet without pruning. It will grow smaller in full sun. It has a compact growth habit and makes for a striking evergreen hedge when planted about every 3 feet.
